When does deer season end in New York?

A man across the street from me hunts deer and i live in New york, to tell you the truth i am super afraid of hunting! Please answer me!

It depends on what you will be hunting with? It ranges from October 18th in the Northern upstate NY zone (regular rifle season) through January 30th bowhunting on Suffolk County Long Island. Bowhunting starts September 27th in the Northern zone. Regular season (rifle) ends today December 7th, throughout the state, unless special permits are issued.
