Are moth balls dangerous? and how can i use them to deter deer?

The only way moth balls deter deer is if they associate that every time they go near you, they get one stuck in their rear hole. Actually, the only way to deter deer is with a good hunting rifle or loud barking dog.Are moth balls dangerous? and how can i use them to deter deer?
If used in a confined space, the fumes can be dangerous. To deter deer and other unwanted outdoor critters, I crush them up and sprinkle them around areas they visit. For deer, around the perimeter of my vegetable and herb gardens, underneath oaks and berry producing bushes...for rabbits, pretty much all my flowers, they can destroy an entire bed in one evening. If you have gophers and moles, drop them down the holes. They also deter snakes and keep them away from the house. I've even been told that if used in garden areas, the stray cats and dogs won't use them as potty areas. I'm just guessing, but anything that works for all these uses can't be too good for you.Are moth balls dangerous? and how can i use them to deter deer?
just put them in the soil (on top of) and make sure there are no pets outside that will get into your garden or wherever you have them. i'm not sure if they're dangerous.
Yes moth balls can be dangerous and are not very effective in detering deer anyway. ';Predator'; sprays don't work much better and are often obtained in inhumane manners. Best option is fencing of at least 8 feet high.
you would't want to eat them, but they stink so bad you could't. if you sprinkle them around trees and shrubs they will deter deer. but what works better is bar soap like dial sliced up and hung in the branchs.does't look pretty but deer hate it.
