Can the Larvel stage of the Deer Tick carry Lyme Disease?

Please, we all got bit by many (hundreds) Larval Deer Ticks. ANy INFO is helpfulCan the Larvel stage of the Deer Tick carry Lyme Disease?
I once heard a presentation by an expert in ticks. He said deer ticks eat three blood meals in their lifetimes--once during each stage of development: larval, nymphal, adult. They can PICK up the infection in any stage, but can only spread it in the second two. (If the larval tick gets infected, it can pass it along to whoever/whatever it bites in next stage.)
