Is there a law against hunting deer with a semiautomatic?

I mean how fun would that beIs there a law against hunting deer with a semiautomatic?
Sounds great to most little kids your age, but really not ethical.

I suggest you complete the hunter education safety course in your home state and learn the laws before you attempt to participate in the noble sport of deer hunting. It is an outdoor sport that you should approach it with a little more reverence and respect as did the early Americans (both old world Immigrants and natives).

True hunters like myself (worldwide) would really appreciate that. Thanks! Is there a law against hunting deer with a semiautomatic?
DUDE SEMIAUTOMATICS ONLY SHOOT ONE BULLET AT A TIME! YOU CAN USE THEM FOR HUNTING, MANY PEOPLE DO! YOU CAN'T USE FULLY AUTOMATICS, WHICH IS THE GUNS IN YOUR VIDEO GAMES, I CAN'T BELIEVE THE IGNORANCE OF SOME PEOPLE!

Now that is just stupid!!!!
Some states do ,some don't however most people would agree it takes the challenge out of it.
There should be a law against hunting.
nope, as long as you have a deer tag and the caliber is higher than .24
in some places. laws haven't all caught up with the new availability of weapons or technology.

its pretty lame if you need a semiautomatic weapon to hunt deer and also means likely not for food and skins so destroying life and environ for sole purpose of killing which is sad and sick.

it's like an adult showing up at a swimming pool with ';floaties';.of course you'll float well, but its sort of sad.
No, as long as it is the proper caliber. There is a law that bans fully automatic weapon use against deer.
as long as you have to pull the trigger for each shot, its legal. Only ones who hate hunting are the body shop people or idiots who know nothing about herd control.
