In 1996 Fred Meyer harvested a 167 Boone %26amp; Crockett Typical (Rack Size) Whitetail Deer, that weighed in at 336 lbs live weight, heaviest buck harvested in Michigan in the last 10 years.

On Nov. 13, 1998, Mitch Rompola harvested a Whitetail Buck in Michigan with bow, rack size ';net'; 216 5/8'; Boone and Crockett, with a spread of 38';, live weight @ 300+ lbs, and field dressed @ 263 lbs. However it has never been officially scored... Since the World Record Whitetail Buck (Typical) was harvested by Milo Hansen in Saskatchewan, Canada @ 213 5/8 (Net) Boone %26amp; Crockett, officially scored. To make a long story short, Mitch Rompola would not score it officially, just because Milo Hansen was upset that if the Rompola buck was bigger, if it was, it should be scored officially. Mitch Rompola said he was upset, and will have it officially scored if someone else breaks the Hansen Buck record.

If you look at Michigans Record for Whitetail Deer, Mitch Rompola 1985 has harvested a Whitetail Buck @ 181 7/8'; and others scoring well (B%26amp;C).

Makes you wonder !?!?
