About how many pounds of tallow can you get from one average size deer?

Hi, I would say on an average size deer where I am from (central illinois) 120-200lb deer. For a mature buck you might be looking at 20-25lbs of tallow and far less on a mature doe. Whitetail deer have an extremely low bodyfat to muscle ratio.
