no, you are gonna need a plug in the gun, and the park ranger will almost certainly check. it varies, but usually between 2 and 3 shells
Go to http://huntandshoot.org and they should be able to tell you, or check NC's DNR. I live in SC and it doesn't matter how many for deer here.
